Devil Arms
Devil May Cry
Guns-
Ebony and Ivory: a pair of .45s which are really cool but useless after you
get the shotgun.
Shotgun: the best all around weapon and retains usefulness against fast-moving
enemies even after you get more powerful weapons.
Grenadegun: Very powerful and makes short work of fighting enemies although it lessens your fight rating.

Dante retains Ebony and Ivory for this game as well as the shotgun.

Submachine Guns: When you want things done quickly...
Devil Arms
Dante retains all of his attacks from the first game. Sweet.

remniscient of Force Edge from the first game.
Merciless: A long thin blade, a good weapon against the airborne enemies and
magicians in the game.
Vendetta: The Big Fucking Sword. Good for chopping down the big nasties.
Attacks
Flip Escape
Luckily everything in this game is free.
Lock onto your enemy with the R1 button, then move the Left Analog stick to
the right or left, pressing the Triangle Button to dodge an attack. If done
successfully, it can start a combo or continue an existing one, thus improving
your rating.
Air Hike
Classic double jump. Press X, then X again at the height of the jump.
Kick Jump
Double jump against the wall. Same instructions as above, only using the wall
as your second jump point.
Wall Hike
Press the Circle button as Dante approaches a wall to run up the wall.
Wall Run
Same as above, only move the Left Analog stick left or right to make him run
along the wall.
Shoulder Butt
Hold the R1 button while jumping, and just as Dante lands, hit the Triangle
button to make Dante hit the target with his shoulder, clearing his landing
space.
High Time
Short
Hold the Left Analog stick away from the target and hit the Triangle button
to knock them into the air. Combo from here.
Complete
Follow the same directions as above, but hit the Triangle button hard so that
Dante will follow the demon into the air, hit them once, then kick them back
down to the ground. Talk about pouring salt into the wounds.
Stinger
Same directions as the first game folks.
Spin Bash
Hold the Left Analog stick away fron the target and hit the Triangle button
three times. Two slashes followed by a scooping slash into the air.
Twosome Time
Not as kinky as it sounds. Shoot at a target with the R1 button held down, and
if another little beastie comes within range, Dante will shoot both of them
at once.
Rain
Storm
Jump up in the air and hit the X button to shoot at enemies on the ground. Unfortunately,
auto-aim doesn't work.
Rapid Fire
Press the left analog button and triangle after locking onto a target and jumping.
Devil May Cry 3
Guns
Ebony & Ivory, again.
Sawed-off Shotgun
Artemis - "You know what would be a great idea? Laser arrows!"
Kalina Ann a.k.a. "Penis Envy."
Spiral - Just a rifle. Honest.
Other
Devil Arms
Rebellion
Cerberus, triple nunchaku.
Beowulf, gauntlets and shin guards
Nevan, demoness-turned-guitar. Who knew?
Agni & Rudra, for when one sword isn't enough.
In DMC3, they introduced the different fighting styles. List of combos in the
next update.
